Wait, a readme for a person? Yeah, it’s pretty awesome! You should make one as well! 😀
Here’s more context
The quickstart summary to Leah:
- You can freely book in my calendar, but please respect my blockers. Always put a short description into every meeting so I know what it is about in a week's time.
- Be very direct; I love candid feedback
- I hold people in high regard who allow themselves to be vulnerable and want to learn from others. We are all in this together. I don’t care about job titles.
Things I care about
- Deep, meaningful conversations
- I love understanding complex systems and making them understandable to others.
- I love learning, teaching, and figuring out new opportunities (I have a weird interest in complicated flight simulators at home for instance)
- I’m a competitive person and am always up for fun bets
- I respect people not despite but because of their failures
- I believe in growing people beyond their jobs and letting everyone be themselves.
How to Interact with Me
- Dial feedback up to 10; don't worry about protecting my feelings.
- I have dyslexia and struggle reading long, complicated (for instance math-heavy) documents as a result. I can do it but the quality of my comprehension struggles a lot vs. visualized and auditory information.
- I prefer short bursts of in-person back and forth as a result instead of huge documents.
- I will mix up close-sounding terms often inadvertently; I’m happy if someone corrects me when that happens
- I am quite sensitive to loud, chaotic environments
- When I mess up, let me proactively know
- If you expect me to do something after you send it to me, make that clear in the text. Otherwise, expect me to read it within 24 hours. I might not necessarily reply, but I will have read it
- If you are blocked because of me, and I don’t realize it is - be persistent and ping me
